Departures is a Canadian TV series that is now at its 3rd season. Honestly this series is a slam dunk! Two Canadian guys travel the globe to remote and popular regions of the world. I have watched the first two seasons and now I am watching the latest and greatest season 3. The series is available on Netflix and its great because they are in 45 minute episodes. Part of the draw to this show is seeing the contrast of the places they go and seeing where they stay, what they do, they relationships they form with guides but I think what makes this show so great is the positive view the two travelers keep touring the globe. At first, Scott the guy who really started this idea has always had a true love for traveling while Justin fell in love with seeing the world in just one season and kept on traveling even when the cameras were off. What a fun way to see the different cultures and ways of life. Lets say they are in Japan, well they don't just show you the city and club life, they also go to the most remote areas of japan as well. It really gives you an eye opening experience. If your looking for something fun, lighthearted and want to see the world, tune in! Well done!
